We are creating a Video Game that will help reverse deforestation

The in-game advertisements for our game will generate money to plant real trees just by playing!

Our Game 10 Degrees Launched 1-1-2020!

The New Year bestows time for reflection, and reinvigoration. Whether it's a New Years Resolution or just a New Attitude, we're willing to bet you're the sort of person who is out to change the world.

These days, so much of what we read in the news about our climate looks bleak, and we can feel powerless. Casting our vision into the future, sometimes it doesn't seem too bright -- but there is a way to make an impact! Join us, Abaca Games, and by playing 10 Degrees, you can game for good! While you immerse yourself in a gripping story and immersive play, Third Millennium Alliance will be planting trees in deforested areas -- all because you chose GAMING as your resolution.

Did you know deforestation causes more carbon dioxide emissions than all world's vehicles combined? We will be partnering with Third Millennium Alliance to protect and replant these forests through our game. Go to Third Millennium Alliance´s website to learn how to contribute to tropical reforestation.

In Production: 10 Degrees

Platform: IOS and Android

A choose-your-own adventure puzzle game. Play each day and plant away. 75% of profits go to reforestation efforts by Third Millennium Alliance

You play a once-loyal employee who grows sick of her job and commits herself to break into her corporation's confidential document storage.  Locked deep within the storage are dark secrets. If you can leak these secrets it will bring justice to countless families who were irreparably harmed by it.

Gaming for Good

How is it possible to grow real forests by playing a virtual game? This can be accomplished by generating ad-revenue while playing the game! This model is proven by freerice.com which has donated nearly 1 million dollars worth of rice (that's 95 billion grains) since it started. Following this same model we are to creating a game that donates money towards tropical reforestation. As a player advances in the game they generate ad-revenue which the non-profit, Third Millennium Alliance will use to plant trees in threatened tropical forest. As they grow into towering forests these trees will help keep the only drinking source for the local community running through the dry season. By planting tropical trees in the last 2% of Coastal Ecuador's forest Third Millennium Alliance also provides essential habitat to thousands of species on the brink of extinction
